About Miranda and Mynah Bird
Before Making the jump to death doula work in 2023, Miranda was certified as a sex and relationship coach, with years of experience in an array of different professional settings. She is a proudly open queer woman. This, combined with her own disabilities and frequent brushes with poverty have given her a uniquely accepting approach to serving the dying and their loved ones, as well as what defines a family. As she has said in her youtube videos, and frequently in person, there is no wrong way to grieve, and no wrong way to want to be remembered.

She founded Mynah Bird Death Services LLC on the belief that accurate death care information, and quality end of life assistance shouldn't be behind a paywall or faith practice. To honor that belief and guiding mission Mynah Bird Death Services LLC operates on an extreme sliding scale, if you are looking for death doula care for yourself or a family member (human or otherwise) don't let cost keep you from reaching out.
