A death doula is a trained nonmedical ​professional who provides comfort, ​guidance, and support to the dying and their ​loved ones at the end of life.

 

Death doulas can be religious, spiritual, or ​atheist but should be able to provide support ​and assistance regardless of belief.

The largest benefit of a death doula is someone there who understands what is going on, and is able to provide calm and steady advocacy for the dying person and their loved ones.

Mynah Bird Death Services LLC has no religious ​affiliation and can and will honor the belief ​system of the dying. In addition it is our firm belief that family is family regardless of species and our services are proudly offered to both humans and companion animals.
